The book originated as an effort to preserve, share, and transmit the memory, oral tradition, and ancestral cosmovision of the Cubeo people, especially the Gegenawa ethnic group. Through stories, knowledge, and fundamental events in Indigenous history, the work captures the profound relationship that these communities maintain with the land, nature, and life, based on balance, respect, and spirituality. The publication becomes a bridge between generations and a tool to make visible, protect, and strengthen ancestral Amazonian knowledge.
